February Creatives Day

For February, Creatives Day is getting a little more playful, romantic, and wildly colorful, just in time for Valentine’s season. And this year feels extra special, because we’re returning to the House of Adora for the third year in a row!

This stunning East Nashville home has become a bit of a NCC tradition. A historic pink house on the outside and a lavish vintage paradise on the inside, it blends Hollywood Regency glamour with Barbie Dream House energy, layered with lush 1960s, 70s, and 80s decor. Every room is filled with rare and unusual vintage pieces, bold textures, saturated color, and unexpected details that make it feel like a living set.

Because of the demand and the size of the space, we’re hosting two separate sessions with two groups of 15. This allows for an intimate, collaborative experience where everyone has time to explore, shoot, and create across multiple rooms and setups without feeling rushed.

January Creatives Day

For January, we’re returning to where it all began.

Creatives Day will take place at The Speakeasy Stage, a tucked-away, custom-built performance space hidden inside a residential loft building near downtown Nashville. This is the location of our very first Nashville Creatives Club shoot two years ago, and we’re excited to return to the space that helped shape the early vision of NCC.

The stage is fully lit with programmable LED DMX fixtures, offering a wide range of looks, from dramatic theatrical lighting to clean, editorial setups. Adjustable marquee floor lights can be repositioned to expand the stage footprint, creating flexibility for movement, posing, and group compositions.

With a small group and limited capacity, this Creatives Day is designed to feel focused, collaborative, and intentional, allowing everyone time to create thoughtfully in a highly controlled visual environment.

December Creatives Day

For December, we’re hosting Creatives Day at Castle Recording Studios, one of the most historic and visually rich spaces in Tennessee. Built in 1932, the Castle has been everything from a speakeasy to a high-end restaurant to an underground casino, and since the 1980s, a world-class recording studio.

Set on a 32-acre property with fields, cedar woods, and a hilltop overlook, the Castle offers both indoor and outdoor environments for portrait, editorial, and lifestyle work. Inside, creatives will have access to the main tracking room, the piano room, the stone room, the kitchen/lounge, and the control room.

This event is ideal for anyone wanting atmospheric portraits, editorial storytelling, natural-light experimentation, and location-based concepts with depth.

If demand is high, we’ll open a second group.

October Creatives Day @ Town Studios

This month, we’re taking over Town Studios, East Nashville’s photo and video playground where every corner is a ready-made set. Inside you’ll find 10+ fully designed spaces that look like they came straight out of a music video or movie scene.

From a retro motel room with shag carpet and wood paneling, to a neon-lit dive bar, a glittering disco lounge, a rustic barn with actual hay, a funky vintage living room, and even a working phone booth, each space is designed with story and character in mind.

October’s event is also the perfect chance to create Spooky SZN content. Whether you’re going for eerie portraits, cinematic horror vibes, or just leaning into autumn’s darker aesthetic, the sets at Town Studios are ideal. Note: if you plan to create Halloween-themed work, you’ll need to be able to deliver it before October 31.

Join Nashville Creatives Club and photographer Stephen Dillon for an immersive outdoor workshop and creative field trip to one of Tennessee’s most photogenic hidden gems.

This 3-hour session will blend practical education with artistic exploration. We’ll kick things off in the parking lot with a brief meet & greet and a brief tutorial on safety, preparedness, and working in unpredictable environments. From there, we’ll hike to the falls (about 100 yards) and dive into a hands-on lighting walkthrough focused on working in harsh, natural light conditions. You’ll also pick up tips on location scouting and adapting to the challenges of outdoor shoots.
