Our Creativity Guidelines

At Nashville Creatives Club (NCC), we are committed to fostering a safe, inclusive, and inspiring environment for all creatives. To ensure every participant feels respected and empowered, we’ve established the following guidelines for collaboration and creative direction:

1. Spiciness Scale for Locations

Each location or concept will have a designated “spiciness level” to guide participants on the style and vibe expected:

  • Level 1: Light, playful, editorial, family-friendly vibes (e.g., classic fashion shoots, portraits, vintage-inspired looks).

  • Level 2: Slightly elevated sensuality, implied themes, or more experimental styles while keeping everything tasteful and aligned with participant comfort.

  • Level 3: Creative freedom for intimate, bold, or risqué concepts—perfect for boudoir and high-glam projects.

Note: Always confirm the boundaries of your collaborators. Even at higher spiciness levels, consent and mutual agreement are required.

2. Enthusiastic Consent is Non-Negotiable

Our core principle is: “If it’s not a F* Yes, it’s a No.”**

  • Creatives are encouraged to share their ideas freely, but consent must be explicit and enthusiastic.

  • If someone does not seem 100% comfortable with an idea, treat it as a “no” and pivot to something that aligns better with everyone involved.

3. Respect for Creative Alignment

Not every collaboration will be a stylistic match, and that’s okay!

  • Participants are encouraged to pursue collaborations with others who align with their creative vision and style.

  • Avoid pressuring others to participate in concepts they’re unsure about—what works for one person may not work for another, and that’s part of the beauty of diversity in creativity.

4. Communication Guidelines

  • Be clear and upfront: Outline your vision, style, and intended vibe before shoots.

  • Respect boundaries: If someone expresses discomfort or hesitation, shift gears immediately.

  • No hard feelings: A misalignment is never personal. Respect and understanding go a long way in building trust within the creative community.

5. Leadership and Accountability

NCC leadership is always available to help mediate or clarify expectations.

If you ever feel uncomfortable or unsure about a situation, reach out to us. We are here to ensure everyone has a positive experience.

Repeated violations of these guidelines may result in membership suspension or revocation.
